Technology Tools

Here are a few of the sites I am on frequently, whether it be my blog or a tool that I use to come up with ideas for lessons.

I have used Pinterest to come up with lots of lesson ideas. Pinterest is a great way to look at new, interesting ways to keep students interested and occupied.

Discovery Education is a wonderful way to find educational videos and websites. I used my board builder in Discovery Education to come up with my mini lesson, and my mentor teacher has used many educational videos from this site.

Discovery Education

Starfall is used in my classroom daily. It's a wonderful way to allow students to interact with technology and games, while still helping them master basic math and reading skills.

Blogger

Here I have embedded my blog. In my education and training class we frequently write blogs about our experiences through our field sites. The blogging site we use is called Blogger, and it is created through our google accounts.

TAFE

TAFE stands for Texas Association of Future Educators. Our region and state competitions go through this organization, and we have many fun and interesting conferences as well.
